Tiennenmen Square

Tiennenmen Square is directly in front of The Forbidden City.

At the center of the square is this monument to the freedom fighters. that gave the people of China the "freedom" of Communism.

No mention was made of the freedom fighters that died June 4, 1989 on almost the very spot.

The Summer Palace

You know how boring the same old palace can be. Where is an Emperor to go when he needs to "get away from it all"?
