On September 3rd, we were Shanghai-ed!

Shanghai means "by the sea." This is a view of the Pudong side of the Huangpu river that divides the old from the new in Shanghai. Virtually all of the buildings you see have been built within the last 10 years. China is trying to move up their standing in the world very quickly and Shanghai is one of their premier cities. The building right behind us has two large glass domes that are giant globes. The tall building is the TV tower, the tallest in Asia.
