Our New House

This is house in North Carolina. We bought it as a foreclosure (that makes 3 for 3), so it needs a little work. These is how it looked when we bought it. We will post updated pictures as we continue all the improvement projects.

Although the lot is quite small, it backs up to a small enchanted forest with elves and fairies that come out to play on a little playground. Charlotte enjoys it too.

The front of the house was a bit overrun with a wide assortment of plants. They were the fist thing to go. I've never had so much fun with a hedge trimmer!

The living room is a huge open space that gives a grand feel as you enter. It makes a great space for entertaining both adults and children.

The kitchen is surprisingly small -- almost anticlimactic after the expansive living room.

We finally got one of those huge master bathrooms with a big tub and two sinks! (Our old bathroom was a shared bath with a single sink and almost enough room to turn around). The bedroom has a nice view of nature through a wall of huge windows.
